Features
The Glattstängelige Mentzelie is a biennial or perennial plant, plant height 30-150 cm reached. Depending 2-3 (4) flowers are located on one stem. They open in the morning. The five petals are light yellow or white, lanceolate, pointed and have a length from 5 to 8 centimeters. Flowering period is from June to October.
Occurrence
The Glattstängelige Mentzelie is the western United States on dry gravelly and stony places.
Use
The Glattstängelige Mentzelie is rarely used as an ornamental plant for Freilandsukkulentenbeete.
