Sun eyes

The sun eye (Heliopsis) are a genus in the subfamily Asteroideae within the family Asteraceae (Asteraceae). The botanical genus name is derived from the Greek: for sun and hélios-opsis are similar. In the genus Heliopsis there are about 14-18 species.

Description

Sun Eye species are very rare, two-year, four Mexican species than one year, mostly as a perennial herbaceous plants, depending on the species usually reach height of about 30-150 cm. The upright to arching stems are branched from the base, or distributed at the stem.
